INGREDIENT & SAFETY INFORMATION

How long does permanent makeup last?
Gradual fading can be expected for all micro-pigmentation procedures. This varies among people and is dependent on the specific pigments used, technique, application depth, personal care routine including diet & health conditions, sun exposure just to name a few contributing factors. Most colors last three to five years, although some may not fade for as long as 10 years or even longer. Periodic touchups are recommended to maintain the desired look with some techniques requiring more or less touchups.
Which is better microblading or permanent makeup?
Microblading is another name for a tattooing technique that generally uses a handtool method that is typically associated with permanent cosmetics. Anytime the skin is penetrated to implant pigment it is a tattoo process, therefore Microblading is just another technique for applying Micropigmentation, permanent cosmetics, or PMU.
How to remove permanent makeup?
Saline removal is one of the most popular methods for removing or lightening permanent makeup.
Typically for undesirable PMU, we first recommend seeking out an artist that can touch up your brows in a more desirable way. Permanent makeup procedures, especially eyebrows, need to be at least touched up from time to time depending on age of client, age of tattoo, the technical application of the pigment along with elemental factors such as diet or weather exposure, and more.
Should lightening of your PMU still be the desired outcome, we would next recommend a saline or non invasive method. Many artists world wide are trained in our Li-FT lighting solution and have seen fantastic results no matter the formulation type used during the procedure. We recommend that you consult a trained Li-FTprofessional in Li-FT lightning techniques.
Li Pigments would highly discourage the consideration of laser removal as an option. Should you desire to entertain this route, you would first need to collect the SDS information for each pigment utilized for each procedure and consult a laser technician. Pigments containing titanium have a high risk of most undesirable results. Li Pigments cautions against laser as a scarless removal process even though some technicians have achieved results that clients were happy with.
